Lecturer in Visual Media

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Iowa invites applicants for a lecturer in visual media, a full-time, 75% position beginning August 14, 2019. This person will teach three classes per semester, which may include courses in web design, graphic design and photography. A small amount of service work is required for this role, and professional development opportunities exist for career advancement.

A graduate degree in hand by start date and/or significant relevant professional experience is required, as is a demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level.
