Arts and Entertainment Editor
The Wall Street Journal is seeking a dynamic editor to lead our coverage of arts and entertainment in the Life & Arts section.
The arts editor will help develop memorable, high-impact feature stories about music, television, movies, books and the art market for our daily Life & Arts section and page one/enterprise. Digital storytelling and splashy visuals are an integral part of this coverage. The job includes managing some of the Journal’s most talented, experienced feature writers as well as commissioning freelancers. The ideal candidate has an eye for buzzy, attention-getting stories and can shape distinctive and original angles in this competitive coverage area. The editor should be able to elevate feature writing and also jump on the news.
Five years of editing experience and a passion for the arts are a must.
