Lecturer in Journalism

The Journalism Program at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a one-year, possibly renewable lectureship in the Department of English, beginning August 2019. The successful candidate will have a master's degree, a minimum of five years' professional journalism experience, and demonstrated teaching ability. Experience in telling multimedia stories is essential, as is social media expertise. Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses in newswriting, digital reporting, multimedia storytelling, and entrepreneurial journalism. The Journalism Program at UNH is housed in the state-of-the-art Hamilton Smith Hall, with a dedicated lab for teaching and production. We seek someone who shares our commitment to individual instruction and to building upon the program's rich tradition in the digital age.
