Program Manager, IFCN

The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) at the Poynter Institute is searching for its new Program Manager!

Are you passionate about the fight against misinformation and accountability? The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, FL is searching for its new Program Manager.

The Program Manager will help run our new and existing initiatives and support collaborative efforts among fact-checkers internationally. S/he will have a demonstrable passion for this field, many ideas about making the practice of fact-checking better and the wherewithal to turn them into reality. The responsibilities are but not limited to support IFCN Director in managing the code of principles applications, running the recently announced fact-checking innovation initiative, co-organizing the annual Global Fact conference around the world, and IFCN’s global training activities. Please consult the job description for further information. An international understanding of fact-checking, organizational and event management is preferred. Excellent command of English and travel flexibility is required.

Annual Salary Range: $42- $52k
