Dayside Executive Producer
WBRC Fox6 is searching for a news manager who can oversee our early evening newscasts. If you're a great coach who can coach experienced producers, reporters and anchors on a fast-paced, must-watch TV Newscast, you should apply. If you love leading a hungry team of reporters, you should apply. Our executive producers produce when line producers are off work, they know how to edit, and they add content to our digital platforms.
Other responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of news producers
- Innovate ways to engage new audiences and attract new revenue streams
- Produce portions or entire newscasts
- Develop training initiatives to teach producers how to remain innovative
- Develop story ideas
- Write teases
- Call sources for new/updated information
- Create graphics to use during newscasts
- Add content to our digital platforms
- Be a newsroom leader
