Marketing Copywriter

Summary of Position

Envision are recruiting a Marketing Copywriter to join our Business Development and Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and driving the internal and external copywriting process. They will focus on creating professional and persuasive advertising and promotional materials from collaborative conceptualization through to the final product. The Copywriter will be responsible for drafting professional and impactful copy that will be used in proposals, advertisements, marketing communications, creative briefs, white papers and other written communications as identified. Key requirements for this position will include excellent written and verbal communication skills, a well-rounded knowledge of the web and various forms of social media, and a passion for the client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create copywriting solutions that address client needs and business goals across marketing channels
  • Research, write and produce high-quality content for Envision web, digital and print communications
  • Review RFP/proposal requirements, manage the fulfillment of these requirements to ensure compliance and responsiveness
  • Gather required data, write and amend RFPs/proposals as required, ensuring accuracy
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prioritize and ensure timely delivery of final submissions
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce required content
  • Produce meaningful, compelling copy for content projects as required
  • Identify key messages of all content, understand the target audience and communicate accordingly in a professional and compelling way
  • Ensure brand consistency (concepts, copy, tone) on all projects
  • Stay current on proposal best practices and market trends at all times
  • Provide communication support and build strong working relationships with all internal teams
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time, in line with role competencies and / or skillset

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in journalism, marketing, public relations or communications
  • 2+ years of copywriting, communications, marketing, editing, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
  • Excellent proofreader with outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to translate customer and business needs into outstanding products and services
  • Proven track record creating winning RFP responses for technical products
  • Proven ability to produce thorough, consistent, insightful written content for both proposals and supporting marketing materials
  • Must be a team player with ability to build relationships with clients and staff
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills for effective decision-making problem solving
  • Ability to coordinate, plan, organize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively with speed and accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
