Content Producer/Editor

Responsibilities:

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. The hours of this role will be varied depending on the department's needs.
  • Produce and edit video content for linear, web and social platforms; candidate must be able to edit high volume, as well as high quality elements to work for multiple distribution outlets; projects/assignments will have wide-ranging lengths and degree of skill.
  • Assist show/content producers with all aspects of production including writing, segment producing and other technical skills, along with contributing and executing creative ideas to all productions.


Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1-year minimum video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or related editing software.
  • Prior experience producing content in a newsroom environment is preferred, with emphasis on ability to see ideas through to completion in all aspects.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
  • Minimum availability of 15-20 hours per week, including weekends and nights
