Based out of our Raleigh or San Francisco office, your primary responsibility will be to write and
develop content that will promote our brand and expand our company's digital footprint. Your
creativity, strategic thinking, and technical writing skills will be essential for bringing ideas to life and telling the story of our brand. You are a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and understands the value and importance of developing best-in-class marketing material that engages our target audience.
Responsibilities and Duties
? Research, write and edit SEO-optimized marketing content for all digital channels including
the company website, blog, email, newsletters, collateral, and other digital properties;
? Partner with internal business teams including Product Innovation, Demand Generation,
Creative, PR, and others to ideate, generate content themes and develop targeted content
for b2b customers and prospects that map to our value proposition, messaging platform and
overall business goals;
? Work collaboratively with teams to execute against content marketing strategy and support
the development of various multi-channel marketing campaigns;
? Repackage marketing content and collateral (datasheets, white papers, case studies, ppt,
etc.) into derivative assets such as direct mail, infographics, checklists, and other sales
enablement tools to span across all stages of the buyer's journey;
? Mentor, guide and lead a team of junior writers and contractors to ensure a consistent brand
voice, messaging and tone across all assets;
? Work with multiple product owners and stakeholders to edit, revise, measure and fine-tune
content for cross-channel promotion;
? Ensure consistent internal and external communication of the brand, messaging and tone
across the buyer's journey
? BA/BS in a related field such as marketing, communications, English, journalism or business
and/or equivalent combination of education and experience;
? 2-6 years of B2B/B2C marketing experience with an emphasis on content creation,
copywriting and digital marketing;
? Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles, SEO best practices, and techniques, lead
? Ability to work autonomously and with cross-functional teams to support content marketing
efforts and meet departmental goals and deadlines;
? Understanding of brand, logo and regulatory compliance, and the ability to liaise with
agencies, vendors and creative/design professionals;
? Good planning, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication (verbal and written) skills; *
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including proofreading, editing and
maintaining brand voice consistency;
? Able to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements;
? Energetic and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
