Serve as a member of the athletics department creative team as a Creative Content producer. Responsibilities include assisting in video production, graphic design and archiving of media, predominantly for basketball, but to include all 20 intercollegiate athletics teams when applicable and assigned; support the production of social media content.The ideal candidate must be a team player and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight completion deadlines, work independently, communicate effectively and emphasize creativity in his/her work. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Qualifications | Bachelor Degree (preferred) in television/video production, communications or creative field.One+ years of professional experience in creative content production, sports/athletics specific.
Job Specific Qualifications | Strong knowledge of sports, promotional spots and commercials is necessary.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated experience in a team environment.Experience in managing and training student workers preferred.Ability to share knowledge and bring creative ideas from concept to completion.Video production skills, including shooting, editing content for various platforms.Effective time management skills with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and be a team player.Ability to mentor staff and students.Very self-motivated with the ability and willingness to work in a team environment.Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities | Produce video and graphics for social media, content for athletics production, athletic communications (Cuse.com and social media accounts) and marketing (video boards, promotional videos, team entrances, special events, and television commercials). Includes coverage of games, practices and special events.Support the Video Producer and Graphic Artist in Creative Services with projects overseen by each.Track and train student workers and interns.Assist with archiving and footage management.Assist in preparation and care of all Creative Services technical equipment.
