News 3 Now/WISC-TV has an exciting opportunity for a Political Reporter to lead our State Capitol and election coverage in one of America's few battleground states. This person will be the face of our political coverage from the Iowa caucus through both national conventions in Milwaukee and Charlotte and up through Election Day 2020. Few states, if any, will be contested like Wisconsin. This is your chance to cover it all. The right candidate will also uncover critical issues and break stories on the competitive political state capitol beat and hold people accountable through our Reality Check fact-check franchise.
What if you could do all of this while working for a family-owned company in one of America's most livable cities? Madison is consistently ranked as one of the best places to raise a family, one of the best college sports towns, and one of the best places to live, period.
News 3 Now produces 40 hours of television news a week, and we embrace coverage through our app, social, web site and streaming video channels resulting in a digital stronghold position in the market. The right candidate will innovate on TV as well as digital and social channels. We expect our coverage to meet consumers where they are and connect with them in convenient ways.
