We are searching for a dynamic, high-energy and experienced Executive Producer of Digital Content to join the Channel 3 News team, WEAR-TV. The qualified candidate must bring newsroom experience, be an innovator and help us maintain our #1 slot in the market across the digital and online platforms. You must bring strong leadership, creative and strategic development skills sets. The candidate must be able to thrive in an urgent breaking news and team environment.

The digital EP will report directly to the News Director providing weekly and monthly reports on the digital objectives, training and growth goals.


  • Set news and digital expectations and hold the team accountable for meeting goals
  • Monitor digital and social analytics, creating a tactical plan to grow the digital audience
  • Oversee all distribution of content and information across our properties (website, mobile app, social platforms, etc.)
  • Work with news management team to review and set up systems to migrate content across platforms in an innovative and timely fashion
  • Maintain high level communications with all station and corporate management, Creative Services/Promotions, as well as vendors


  • The ability to lead, train, and direct professionals successfully
  • Must grow the engagement across platforms month-to-month and year-to-year
  • Working knowledge of a newsroom, new media, digital interactive initiatives, social media and content
  • At least 2 years management experience, preferably in a TV sales environment
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication skills
  • Hands on experience developing and growing a target audience
  • TV background or digital management experience is a plus
  • Must have knowledge of Google Analytics and Tagboard
